We have just completed our design work on the refurbishment and rebranding of an innovative Pizzeria in Brighton. Purezza is a Vegan restaurant, well known for its utterly delicious pizzas (which converted even our most carnivorous of designers on an early site visit). The clients came to us with a brief to create a new brand identity and interior look and feel which would match up to the quality of their cooking, and the introduction of a new coffee bar within the space.
We started by immersing ourselves in the raw food scene and played with a number of different creative routes for the identity, some more urban and edgy than others, but all very much infused with our trademark Run For The Hills hand crafted feel. Not simply about designing a new logo, we devised multiple ways to infuse the brand in creative ways throughout the space. Creative decals and illustrations on the shopfront glazing, beautifully illustrated wall murals within and concepts for uniform design, wayfinding and menus. All of which have been hand drawn by our in-house team of graphic designers and illustrators.
The builders are in and the Clients are overseeing the works. We can’t wait to see how it all turns out when we pop back at the end to do our final styling. Watch this space for the full case study, in the mean time, here’s a snapshot from our concept presentation…
I am the founder of Run For The Hills, a London-based creative design house that exists in the space where graphics and interiors meet.
