The studio is hard at work on the design and fit of an Art Deco inspired apartment building in W1. We are designing the common parts of the building including the entrance, lobby and the corridors of the 7 floors of the building. Alongside our interior design work, we are also designing bespoke wayfinding and have created some custom lettering and numerals which will guide people around the building. Some of the antique bronze letters have just arrived!
As part of the project, our interiors team have also designed a custom Deco-inspired light which we’re calling our ‘Skyscraper Light’, made from opalescent perspex with Tiffany-style hand crafted leading around the three tiers. It emits a gorgeous glow and these lights will greet residents when they emerge from the lifts on each floor.
Here are the original concept renders for our design of the 4th floor vestibule and corridor, which is currently being installed and will be ready really soon for our photo shoot.
We are also busy concepting a brand new entrance and Lobby for the building which is very exciting. Including the design of brand new front doors, taking the building back to its Streamline Moderne Deco heritage.
More on the project coming soon.
